Shipping Policies

The Peosta Campus Bookstore offers competitive shipping rates, and all shipments are carefully packed to protect your order in route.

On average, your order should arrive within 2 to 4 working days. During August or December, delivery time may be longer.

Refund Policy

To obtain a refund you must present a receipt showing the dollar amount for the book(s) being refunded. New books must be in perfectly new condition (no marks, soiled spots, creases, bent corners, etc.). Shrink-wrapped books must have wrap intact, including the original NICC price tag. Any disks, CDs, or DVDs must be in the original packaging and unopened as well. You may obtain a refund on qualifying textbooks purchased for the semester until one week after the start date of the course. Refunds after this will only be given under limited circumstances at the manager's discretion, and subject to a 10% restock fee.

Return Instructions

We recommend that all refund requests be submitted in person at the Bookstore, so that any questions about whether a book is in refundable condition can be resolved on the spot. If this is not possible, books can be shipped to the Bookstore with a request for refund. However, books that do not meet all requirements cannot be refunded and will not be shipped back to the sender. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Bookstore before shipping anything. Remember that a receipt must be included with each return. Returns missing this information will not be refunded. If the return is due to our error, all shipping charges will be refunded. Repackage your item(s) in the original packaging or in an appropriate mailing container. Use packing material (e.g. Styrofoam peanuts, bubble wrap, etc) around your item(s), and tape your package securely. Select a carrier that offers you the option to insure and track your package. UPS, FedEx, and USPS all offer this option. Insuring and tracking your package protects you as the shipper and helps ensure your shipment goes to the correct destination in the same condition as when you sent it. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer and is not refundable, unless due to our error. No credit is given for packages that are lost or damaged in route to the Peosta Bookstore.
